Contemplating Jesus Christ on the Cross
In case you can´t see the video click here or contact me.
I created this video when I was at an easter retreat in Marchegg at the monastery of the Catholic Community of Saint John.
When I did the pictures & arranged the video, I heard the beautiful music “parce mihi domini” of Jan Garbarek & the Hilliard Ensemble, which I eventually chose as the musical theme.
Meditation upon the unconditional love of Jesus Christ
Could you imagine that he died even for you out of love. That he would give his life for you? Freely… without conditions…What kind of an example is he, that he even loves thos that see him as an enemy? And what about us? Where can we love more?… Beginning with ourselves…our family… our neighbours, strangers, …
How does it feel, when we realize, that God loves us, no matter how small or great we are infront of the eyes of others? And how much do we strive to be examples of his unconditional love for our neighbours?
What if we fall? … Certainly we will…. So, what if we fall?… Well, we get back up. And what if we fall again?… We will get back up again. And…fall again..and get up again. Until one day we will remain standing…without falling anymore.
Isn´t that the day, we hope for?…Some day in the future?…Well, what if we start today?! Now. With positive thoughts & actions.
I believe: nothing is in vain.
Whenever you encounter passion & trials: may you rise to experience your personal EASTER.
May the video be an inspiration for you.
